As long as Darth Vader is in the Character arena, if this unit would be discarded from the Ground arena, retreat it and remove all damage counters from it instead.
Usage Notes
An effect may attempt to discard this unit as a cost, or as the result of a discard effect. If it does, this unit will instead retreat (if Vader is in the Character arena). The effect requiring the discard will not resolve. The effect is considered "played". (If it's a Battle card, discard it.)
