This Dark Side starter deck is comprised of cards entirely from the Old Republic Era. Paired with the Light Side Old Republic starter deck, it is designed for novice players and features only basic card types and introductory game mechanics. If you are new or are looking to introduce a friend to the game, these starter decks are a good way to do so as they are balanced against each other. Follow the gameplay instructions in the Rulebook and use these decks to start your game! The Old Republic Era starter decks introduce the Star Wars Trading Card Game’s primary unit types (Space, Ground, and Character), and the primary support card types (Equipment, Location, Mission, and Battle cards).
